Francis was wanted by the FBI
She Went down to Texas to hide
She Left Jimmy and Girls all alone in Jackson
She baked a cake and walked the girls next door
Helen answered and Francis swore
She'd be back in an hour or two to pick up the girls.

But Francis ran away into the evening sun
She Left her Family now shes on the run
She headed west to be with Mannys mom before the baby their hiding
would be starting to show

Manny played dumb while jimmy called the cops
Meanwhile he called his mom to plot
said he'd joining them soon as the coast was clear

But Manny aint been the same since the War
He Left his arm out on a foreign shore
he and helen had been married to young and sometimes
Just mending the woulds isn't all that it takes
and Francis life was screwed since that orphanage
he father left her just as fast as he could
he dropped her off when she was 3 years old
and sometimes the mistakes of a father cut so deep they repeat
